The International Academy of Digital Arts & Sciences announced Bangkok Condo Finder as a honoree in the real estate category for the 16th Annual Webby Awards.   HBO GO, 106 & Park, Google+, Funny or Die and Pinterest are among other nominees for the award.  Here is the full list of this year’s real estate honorees.

Website entries make up the majority of Webby Awards Winners, Nominees and Honorees. Some are beautiful to look at and interact with. Others are a testament to usability and functionality. To be selected among the best is a noteworthy achievement.

Of the over 8000 entries submitted to the 16th Annual Webby Awards, fewer than 15% were distinguished as an Official Honoree. This honor signifies an outstanding caliber of work.

The Webby Awards is the leading international award honoring excellence on the Internet. Established in 1996 during the Web’s infancy, The Webbys is presented by The International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences, which includes an Executive 1,000-member body of leading Web experts, business figures, luminaries, visionaries and creative celebrities, and Associate Members who are former Webby Award Winners and Nominees and other Internet professionals.

The Academy is an intellectually diverse organization that includes members such as Internet inventor Vint Cerf, President & Editor-in-Chief of Huffington Post Media Group Arianna Huffington, Twitter Co-founder Biz Stone, “The Simpsons” creator Matt Groening, foursquare Co-founder Dennis Crowely, Chairman and Founder of R/GA Bob Greenberg, actress Lisa Kudrow, Co-founder of Thrillist Ben Lerer, and actor Adrian Grenier. Members also include writers and editors from publications such as The New York TimesWiredDetails, Fast CompanyElle, and The Los Angeles Times.

The Webby Awards presents two honors in every category — The Webby Award and The Webby People’s Voice Award — in each of its four entry types: Websites, Interactive Advertising & Media, Online Film & Video and Mobile & Apps. Members of The International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences select the nominees for both awards in each category, as well as the winners of The Webby Awards. However, you, the online community, determine the winners of The People’s Voice by voting for the nominated work that you believe to be the best in each category. Each year, the Webby People’s Voice Awards garners hundreds of thousands of votes from the Web community all over the world.

While Academy judges like Twitter co-founder Biz Stone, Musician David Bowie and Instagram founder Kevin Systrom will select the Webby winners, starting today millions of people will also help decide who takes home a coveted Webby by voting in The Webby People’s Voice Awards.

Winners will be announced May 1st and honored at a star-studded ceremony at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City on Monday May 21st at 5:30PM. There, they’ll deliver their famous Webby 5-Word Speeches in tradition of past victors like Anna Wintour (“Sometimes geeks can be chic”) and Angry Birds (“Stay angry, get those pigs!”). The show will be hosted by critically-acclaimed stand-up comedian, writer and actor Patton Oswalt and streamed live in HD at Webbyawards.com.

Leading news and media organizations such as NPR (9 nominations), The New York Times (8 nominations), and The New Yorker (7 nominations) also earned multiple nods for their online content and mobile applications. Other news brands with multiple nominations in the Mobile Web category include National Geographic (5) and Wired Magazine (4), illustrating the growing importance of the mobile device as a tool for news distribution.
